Several factors may cause a video to lag or freeze.
1) Outdated codecs.
Always use the most current version of codecs. older codecs may cause problems such as video lag or audio distortion.
2) Poor performance of the computer
Recordings taken at higher resolutions or high frame rates (such as 4K 30 fps, 2.7K 60fps, 1080p 120 fps, and HD 200+ fps) may not always prove sufficient for playback.
3) Inappropriate microSD Card
LAMAX cameras support microSDHC memory cards of various brands up to a maximum capacity of 32 GB or more. MicroSDXC may possess a maximum capacity of 64 GB.
Card and product compatibility is defined in the manual or on the packaging, or on the product's website.
Regardless of the type of camera, the use of a Class 10 card is a reasonable minimum standard. If the camera is capable of high resolution recording or producing a high number of images per second, it is also necessary to select UHS-I U3 microSDHC / SDXC card, and never just U1 (applies to 4K 30 fps, 2.7K 60fps, 1080p 120 fps, and HD 200+ fps). We do not recommend the purchase of cheaper, inferior quality memory cards which despite the designation "Class 10" often fail to meet this condition.
4) Recording in interpolated resolution
Some LAMAX cameras, such as X3.1 Atlas or X7.1 Naos, achieve a 4K resolution thanks to interpolation, or pixel counting. Thus, the 4K video even over 30 recorded images per second may not be as smooth as with videos shot at lower resolutions. This mode is particularly suitable for static shots or for time-lapse video.
