Several factors may cause a video to stall or lag.

1) Outdated codecs.

Always use the most current codec version. Older codecs can cause technical difficulties, such as audio problems.

2) Poor computer performance.

Some computers may not be able to process higher resolution recordings, as well as, high-frame images (such as 4K 30 fps, 2.7K 60fps, 1080p 120 fps, and HD 200+ fps) and playback may not always be possible.

3) Inappropriate microSD Card

BML cameras support microSDHC memory cards of various brands up to a maximum capacity of 32 GB or more. MicroSDXC up to a capacity of 64 GB.

Card and product compatibility is defined in the manual, on the packaging, or on the product's website. Regardless of the type of camera, the Class 10 card is a reasonable minimum. In the case that your camera is capable of high resolution recordings, or it takes a high number of images per second, then it is also necessary to choose a UHS-I U3 microSDHC / SDXC card, not U1 only (applies to 4K 30 fps, 2.7K 60fps, 1080p 120 fps, and HD 200+ fps). We do not recommend buying poorer quality memory cards which despite the designation "Class 10" often do not meet the required standard.

4) Recording in interpolated resolution

Some BML cameras, such as cShot3 or cShot1, achieve a 4K resolution thanks to interpolation, or pixel counting. Thus, the 4K video, even with over 30 recorded images per second, may not achieve the same fluency as certain videos captured with lower resolutions. This mode is particularly suitable for static shots or for taking time-lapse video.
