Parking mode is a function that allows you to protect your car after parking. There is an active G-sensor in the camera that triggers the camera to record 20 seconds of footage in the event of a collision or attempted intrusion. In the event that there is no further impact for those 20 seconds, the camera automatically switches off. This feature allows you to have a record of the incident.

For cameras that have a battery, the camera needs to be unplugged from the power supply and held in standby mode by the battery. For cameras with a supercapacitor, the camera needs to be plugged into a power outlet that is permanently active.
